The American Cancer Society is hosting a Bark for Life event on Saturday, October 29 in Lubbock.

The event will take place from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Kastman Park (which is located off South Loop 289 behind Murfee Elementary School).

Canine companions and their owners will celebrate cancer survivorship, honor those lost to cancer and raise funds to help finish the fight against cancer.

Those interested in taking part can register on-site starting at 11:30 a.m.

The cost is $25 for the first dog and $10 for each additional dog. There is a limit of two dogs per owner.
