An Andrews man was killed in a one vehicle accident Sunday morning south of Andrews. 

According to the DPS, the accident occurred on U.S. Highway 385, approximately 12 miles south of Andrew, at 4:53 a.m.

Authorities say a Dodge Durango was travelling northbound on U.S. Highway 385. The driver of the Durango failed to negotiate a curve. The 
vehicle then entered the center median before rolling over on it’s right side. The vehicle came to rest, upright, facing southwest. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. 

The driver has been identified as Apolinar Guerra, 24, of Andrews. The DPS report states Guerra was not wearing a seat belt.
