The Andrews Police Department recovered more than 100 pounds of marijuana on Friday morning, according to a release from the department.

Officers stopped a 2003 Ford Expedition near the area of Mustang Drive due to a traffic violation and when the suspects began acting suspiciously the vehicle was searched, according to the release.

Police reportedly located about 112 pounds of marijuana hidden inside the seats of the vehicle. 

The value of the recovered marijuana was about $680,000, according to the release.

The driver, Denise Delara-Castaneda, 25, and a passenger, Kevin Hernandez, 26, were both arrested and charged with delivery of marijuana > 50 pounds < = 2,000 pounds, according to the release.
