Students ages 12 to 14 or enrolled in the 7th, 8th or 9th grade are encouraged to apply to the Junior Ambassador Program. Selected students will travel to Lubbock’s sister city, Musashino City, Japan for a week of sightseeing and cultural activities. The trip dates are June 7 – 13, 2016.

The application deadline is Friday, February 5, 2016 by 5:00 p.m. The mission of the Junior Ambassador Program is to foster the development of friendship, understanding and education through International Ambassador Exchange. For over 25 years the City of Lubbock has maintained a valuable relationship with its sister city, Musashino City, Japan.
