Robert Earl James, 42, of Lubbock was arrested Wednesday afternoon for failure to stop and render aid related to the death of Travis Motsenbocker, 26.
Motesnbocker was hit and killed by a car in the early morning hours of November 8 at Erskine Street and Slide Road. At the time, police said Motsenbocker stopped to remove a dead dog from the roadway.
Police later asked for the public’s help to find a Lincoln Town Car. James’ booking sheet, as of early Wednesday evening, did not indicate how much bond he would have to post to be released from jail.
