Lubbock Fire Rescue said a fire in the 200 block of 43rd Street Tuesday afternoon was arson. LFR said the home was a total loss and the Red Cross was providing help to the resident.
The Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate and “[the] fire was determined to have been intentionally set.”

No injuries were reported.
