Beginning Wednesday, October 26th, West Texas Paving, under contract with the City of Lubbock, will begin maintenance work on Avenue P from 82nd Street to 98th Street. The existing road base and surface will be completely removed and rebuilt.
Detours will be made available to residents in the area. All other traffic is recommended to avoid the work zone. Drivers traveling in the work area are encouraged to allow extra time for delays.
This work will take approximately three to four weeks to complete depending upon weather and construction.
