A young woman is still recovering after being run over by a truck Sunday in Big Spring
According to Big Spring Police, a Black Dodge diesel pickup intentionally ran over Shelbie Hudgins, 22, at about 3:00 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of S. Lancaster.
Hudgins was transported to Scenic Mountain Medical Center due to injuries and was later flown to Lubbock for treatment.
The driver and suspect is described as approximately 6′ tall red buzz cut hair, scuffy red beard and at the time of the incident was wearing an orange t-shirt and blue jeans.The suspect also walked with a limp and was wearing some sort of medical wrap around one of his legs.
Big Spring Police believe Hudgins met the suspect at Crossroads bar on the night of the 16th and early morning hours of the 17th.
