The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence near Woodrow Road and Slide Road Monday evening. EMS and volunteer firefighters were also called to the scene just before 7:00 p.m.
Firefighters left the scene about an hour after they were called out.
Officials have not provided details, but the LSO bomb squad was observed on scene. A photojournalist was told there was a suspicious package.
