A Lubbock County jury found Jordan Booker, 27, guilty of aggravated robbery.

In November of 2015 Lubbock Police said one person was suspected of committing three armed robberies in one day.  One of the robberies was at Denny’s Restaurant, 4718 Slide Road.

Police at the time said, “The suspect entered the business armed with a handgun and wearing a stocking over his head and face.”

He demanded money.

“The victim recognized the suspect as a former employee and the suspect fled the scene without any money,” police said.

That same information was repeated at trial by the restaurant manager.

She testified that she told Booker, “I know who you are. What are you doing?”

Booker was arrested two days later in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The punishment phase of the trial was set to continue on Wednesday.
