A young boy was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car Tuesday night, according to Levelland Police.
Levelland Police said the young boy was riding his bike near Avenue L and 10th Street and did not yield at the yield sign around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the boy rode in front of a car and was hit by the car. The boy was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
According to police, witnesses said the child did not try to stop for the car.
Levelland Police did not release any additional information about the boy or the driver as of Wednesday morning.
