Saturday afternoon, Lubbock Police Department reported they received an anonymous tip to their Crime Line that lead them to the body remains of a male, in an open field area in South Lubbock County.

The family of missing teen Anthony ‘Mark’ Ysasaga was notified by Lubbock Police that they believed it to be his body, but as of Saturday evening, Lubbock police have not officially identified the body as Ysasaga.

A DPS helicopter swarmed the area, Saturday afternoon, as Lubbock police investigators and the Lubbock

County medical examiner examined the remains all day.

Polly Boleyn who lives in the area said she couldn’t believe this happened so close to her home.

“I followed it from the very beginning,” Boelyn said. “Everywhere I went I looked for this little boy It’s like God, can I please bring this child home to his mother, somehow.”

Boleyn said she has seen teenagers go to the area to ride dirt bikes and hangout, but never thought a body could be laying there for years.

“It very well could have been my son and I feel for her so much,” Boleyn said. “It just a shame that his life was taken from him this soon and I’m so glad that they’re finally going to have some closure.”
