On Tuesday, Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in the 7800 block of 94th Street around 5:30 p.m.
According to a reporter on scene, eight LFR units responded to the fire. The reporter said the fire is contained, but crews are continuing to work to fully put it out.
While one person was initially in the house, LFR said there were no injuries.
LFR said the fire started in one bedroom on the East side of the house, but the cause is still under investigation.
The house is uninhabitable until the it is refurbished, LFR said.
