On top of the participation prizes, third place will win $100 cash, second place will win $200 cash, and first place will win $500 in cash, as well as a paid internship at Breedlove Foods during the summer of 2016.

Ambassador Tibor P. Nagy, Jr., Vice Provost of International Affairs at Texas Tech University, and the Breedlove Foods Board Members will award the prizes to winners. Ambassador Nagy served as the Ambassador to Guinea from 1996-1999 and as the U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia from 1999-2002.
Also, at the awards reception, Breedlove Foods will announce a fundraising campaign to benefit those suffering this year from the worst food crisis in decades in eastern and southern Africa.
