Gerod Vincent Rockwell, 31, of Bronte died in a rollover accident Tuesday night along Lipan Creek Road just outside of San Angelo.
Officers were called out to the scene after 10:00 p.m. and pronounced Rockwell dead at the scene.
Rockwell’s passenger, Rudolfo Santellano, 29, was taken to Shannon Medical with unknown injuries.
Officials said Rockwell’s car was traveling eastbound when he lost control, went into a ditch, and then went into field overturning multiple times.
Officials also said Rockwell was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.
