A Buena Vista ISD teacher was charged with having an improper relationship with a student.  An explicit conversation on Facebook played a pivotal role in the investigation.

The Pecos County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Andrew Franks engaged in a Facebook Messenger conversation with a student on February 1. The conversation included details about the student meeting Franks when he “arrived home from work,” according to a sworn affidavit in court records.

The affidavit also indicated that the conversation between the student and Franks included mentions of oral sex. In one message, the affidavit stated that the student said to Franks: “I miss doing it for you,” referring to oral sex.

When asked if Franks missed the student engaging in oral sex with him, Franks reportedly replied by saying, “No.” according to the affidavit.

Franks was booked Friday into the Pecos County Jail. He was able to make $10,000 bail to be released, according to authorities.
