A fun event for the whole family. A party created just for the pediatric oncology department at Covenant. Families who watch their children go through chemotherapy daily get to relax and enjoy the company of other families going through the same thing.
Pediatric Nurse, Ashley Shock tells us this is the 15th year for the party and it’s all due to the kindness of sponsors and volunteers and businesses in the area making it possible.
Two families, the Roan family, and the Perez family both attending the party for the second year and say it’s the time with other families and a chance for the kids to see Santa and not feel awkward with other kids wondering what they are going through.
Both Avery Roan and Haley Perez are receiving chemo treatments at the Covenant pediatric Oncology unit and love the fun and presents and seeing Santa.
