Police responded to a single-car wreck near the intersection of Quincy Street and 13th Street in Plainview Wednesday evening.
Police said the driver was traveling northbound on Quincy and struck a fire hydrant, and then a telephone pole.
The car went across the lane and ended up stopping on the curb on the opposite side of the road, according to an officer at the scene.
Police told EverythingLubbock.com that the driver of car was not hurt, and no other people were involved.
After releasing some water, the fire hydrant was turned off, and crews were out repairing the utility pole Wednesday night.
The cause of the crash was not immediately available.
