Lubbock Police said a car crashed into a building in the 2400 block of South Loop 289 Sunday night just before midnight. Police identified the driver as Aaron Kelley, 21.
Police said, “The driver attempted to turn northbound on University Ave but failed to control his speed and instead drove up the embankment and then back down and across the access road eventually colliding with the building.”
Kelley and one passenger refused treatment. Two passengers were taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries according to LPD.
After the car was moved, a hole could be seen in one outer wall of the Lennox PartsPlus building.
Police did not mention any charges or citations.
