There was a scary situation for a driver in downtown Austin Friday afternoon after police said a car drove off a parking garage.

KXAN quoted Austin police as saying the incident happened just before 2:40 p.m. at the Littlefield Garage at the corner of Congress Avenue and East Sixth Street.  The car caught was in the high tension wires of the parking garage.

KXAN also said the driver managed to get out of the car with no injuries.

Several people who work in the downtown area took photos of the car dangling between the garage and another building.

Emergency crews were working to get the suspended vehicle down to the ground.
