The Diocese of Lubbock will pray Solemn Vespers with Bishop-elect Robert Coerver (pronounced Curver) and Bishop Plácido Rodríguez, CMF, Bishop Emeritus of Lubbock at Christ the King Cathedral at 4011 54th Street in Lubbock on Sunday, November 20 at 7 p.m.

The evening prayer will commemorate The Feast of Christ the King and begin the celebration  for the Ordination and Installation of the Third Bishop of the Diocese of Lubbock.

During the service, Bishop Emeritus Rodríguez will bless the new bishop’s Episcopal Regalia.  Bishop-elect Coerver will receive the regalia during the Ordination Mass  on Monday, November 21, 2016.

All people of good will are invited to join at the Cathedral to pray for the new bishop. A ticket is not required for the Vespers ceremony, but a ticket is required for the Monday Ordination Mass.
