EVENT:
Thanks to a $1.6 million gift from the CB&I corporation, renovations to the former mechanical engineering machine shop have been completed and will be revealed to the public at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Texas Tech students will now be able to take advantage of the latest technologies in additive manufacturing through which they can develop a tactile and functional understanding of mechanical and theoretical principles to enhance their engineering education and experience.
Officials with Texas Tech, the Whitacre College of Engineering and CB&I will be on hand for the ceremony.
