Special Olympics Texas athletes from across the South Plains were treated to brunch, games and entertainment Saturday morning at the Baylor Museum of Agriculture.

The Character Brunch featured all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, fruit and muffins, and games provided by LubbockForKids.com, The United Family and the Knights of Columbus.

Cast members from the upcoming Moonlight Musicals production of  “Peter Pan,” as well as the Masked Rider, Raider Red and characters from Lubbock Comic-Con were hand to entertain the athletes.

The Special Olympics athletes in attendance are officially superheroes for the day!

Literacy Lubbock also provided story times.
