The City of Lubbock Veterans Advisory Committee and Lubbock National Bank will be hosting the 2nd Annual West Texas Salute to Veterans on Saturday, May 28, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Fiesta Plaza, located on Cesar Chavez Drive off of North University.
The purpose of this event is to show appreciation to our military service members, veterans, and their families and thank them for what they have done to protect our many freedoms and way of life. This event is free and will include a Veteran’s Resource Fair.
Booths are available at no cost to local non-profits that provide services to veterans and families. The booth fee for businesses and for-profit organizations is $100. Booths consist of one table with two chairs. Groups may bring canopies to cover their tables. No electricity will be available. For more information, call 775-2685.
