On Tuesday, March 14th, multiple traffic lanes at 19th Street and Memphis Avenue will be closed while city crews upgrade the traffic signal. Altus Traffic with the City of Lubbock will detour all eastbound and northbound traffic approaching the intersection. Westbound traffic on 19th Street will not be able to turn south onto Memphis Avenue. These closures will allow City of Lubbock Traffic Operations crews to safely perform work on the signal.
Work will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at approximately 12:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The City encourages drivers to use caution while driving in work zones and to seek alternate routes when possible.
