Covenant Children’s hosts celebration of National EMS-Children’s Day during National EMS Week.
WHEN:
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. tomorrow (May 18)
WHERE:
Covenant Children’s Parking Garage, first floor (because of predicted inclement weather), 4000 24th St.
WHO:
EMS for Children Day is celebrated on the third Wednesday of May as part of the larger National EMS Week celebration. Covenant Children’s recognizes EMS for all it does for children and takes this opportunity to thank workers for their service. Hot dogs, burgers, chips and soft drinks will be available for EMS personnel.
There are 1,440 individual EMS responders in the 22-county area surrounding Lubbock.
The event is sponsored by Covenant Children’s and Covenant Medical Center with Aerocare and County Line Electric providing the grill and extra personnel.
