Covenant Health Offers Free Information, Guidance on Quitting Smoking

The Great American Smokeout awareness campaign

WHEN:          
Wednesday (Nov. 16)

WHERE:        
10 a.m.- noon, Covenant Women’s and Children’s lobby (4000 24th St.)
1-3 p.m., Covenant Medical Center main lobby, 21st Street and Knoxville Ave.

EVENT:         
In conjunction with the American Cancer Society, Covenant will have a resource table in advance of the following day’s Great American Smokeout, which is held annually on the third Thursday in November. The two Covenant Health facilities will be sites where people can come to pick up information and resources regarding the Great American Smokeout, including local smoking cessation programs to help them start on the road to a smoke-free and healthy lifestyle. Both a nurse and a social worker will be available to answer questions.
