WHAT:  Covenant Health’s monthly Heart Matters discussion topics on heart and other health issues.

WHEN:  9-10 a.m. July 31

WHERE:  Knipling Education and Conference Center, on the 6th floor of the West Parking Garage at the corner of 21st and Louisville.

EVENT:  Covenant offers free discussions each month, open to the public. May 29 features Terrie Klein, nurse practitioner, discussing Palliative Care. Future dates and topics include:

July 31: Dr. Michael Robertson, “Care Coordination Program and its impact on chronic disease management,” focusing on the work Covenant navigators have done to reduce readmissions and ED visits for congestive heart failure.                   

Subsequent dates include:  Aug. 28, Sept. 25 (Gail Hargrove, physician’s assistant with Cardiology Associates, on heart attacks), Oct. 30 and Dec. 4.
