LUBBOCK, Texas — Volunteer firefighters battled a trailer fire in Northeast Lubbock County Wednesday afternoon. 

West Carlisle and Shallowater Volunteer Fire Departments were called out at about 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 1640 and County Road 6300.

Later, the New Deal Volunteer Fire Department was also called to help.

The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office said that an abandoned trailer caught fire.  There were no injuries.
