The Texas Department of Public Safety on Tuesday evening released information about a bomb squad call south of Lubbock. The situation started Monday at 4:00 p.m. according to a spokesman for the DPS.
Investigators went to home near Slide Road and Woodrow Road as part of an investigation into recent burglaries.
Investigators were looking for stolen property and found stolen guns, jet ski’s, other items and an improvised explosive device.
EMS and volunteer firefighters were called to the scene just before 7:00 p.m. Monday to assist the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad.
Names of persons involved were not yet released by the DPS but the DPS said arrests were made.
