The Canadian River Municipal Water Authority began pumping and refilling storage reservoirs Saturday.  We hope to have these reservoirs full by late next week.  In order to do this, CRMWA member cities have been asked to keep their CRWMA water usage to a minimum.

We are tentatively scheduled to shut down again in a week or two in order to continue our internal electromagnetic survey. We expect that to take about 10 days.  Depending on survey results, we will then either refill our system or begin proactive repairs.  Total downtime for this phase is expected to be around 3 weeks.  Refilling storage reservoirs will take an additional 1 to 2 weeks.

We have an additional section of pipe we plan to survey.  The decision on when to do that will depend on the results of the February survey and other factors.  The goal is to be ready to pump uninterrupted by high water demand season beginning as early as April.
