Dallas Baptist has a recent baseball history that is matched by very few programs around the country.
The Patriots are one of just eight teams nationally to boast three straight 40-win seasons, heading into the Lubbock Regional this weekend.
That experience gives them an edge, according to their play-by-play radio announcer Reagan Ratcliff.
“The bigger the stage, the more they thrive,” said Ratcliff. “They’re not in awe of big environments…they’re looking forward to the opportunity this weekend.”
DBU also won back-to-back games against two traditional ‘power programs’ last year in the Dallas Regional, by taking down Texas and Oregon State.
