Lubbock native and local attorney David Nelson is pleased to announce his candidacy for
Judge of Lubbock’s County Court at Law #3. Nelson, a practicing attorney for more than 40
years, has tried a variety of cases to juries comprised of the citizens of Lubbock and West
Texas. Nelson said, “I believe my legal career makes me uniquely qualified to serve in this
judicial capacity.”

have tried more jury trials than anyone that applied for this judgeship. I am true to the law,
true to my profession and my ethics and true to my family, friends, church and this great
