The Texas Department of Public Safety released information about a deadly crash which happened Monday at 7:10 a.m. in Midland County.
DPS said Damien Woodard, 39, of Red Oak, died at the scene of the crash. DPS said Woodard was driving a 2015 Kenworth tractor-trailer northbound in the southbound lanes of FM-1379 southeast of Midland.
DPS said Woodard was driving in the wrong lane for “unknown reasons.”
His truck struck a 2015 Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by Danny Norris, 67, of Rowlett.
DPS said, “[Norris] was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.”
DPS also said conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash.
