Clara Ellison, Store Manager for Dillard’s Lubbock will present a check for $9,480 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest from proceeds of their Dillard’s Southern Living Christmas Cookbooks during the 2015 holiday season.

This marks the 22nd year that Dillard’s has graciously conducted a holiday fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities to help the families of seriously sick or injured children of their local communities. Accumulatively, Dillard’s has raised over $13.1 million for RMHC Chapters across the nation since they began their annual fundraisers.

“The Dillard’s cookbook is a reflection of how a good meal can do wonders in bringing families close together. This generous donation will go to support our Ronald McDonald House program which provides families a ‘home away from home’ while their child is receiving treatment in the local hospitals allowing families to focus on what is most important, their child,” said Dina Jeffries, President, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest keeps families close because Healing Happens Together. RMHC is a non-profit charity whose programs serve over 13,000 people each year across 68 counties of West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico. Contributions stay local and continue to support families of our region. Over 80% of our income is generated by donations. No family is ever turned away for inability to pay and may stay for as long as it takes for their child to heal.
