Christopher Stevone Moore will announce his intentions to run for Lubbock City Council District 2 Monday, January 18, at Wiley’s BBQ: 1805 Parkway Drive at 2:00 P.M.
Moore provided the following Biography.
Biography: Christopher Stevone Moore is a native of Lubbock, Texas. He is a graduate from Estacado High School. After graduation Chris joined the United States Navy where he served his country for four years. After his venture with the military, Chris moved to Dallas, TX where he started his new career in Computer Business Management and served Greyhound Lines for five years. Chris moved back to Lubbock, TX in June of 2002 to explore his opportunity to pastor Victory In Praise for more than thirteen years. Chris also serves in the city of Lubbock and the East Lubbock community as an activist and support for economic development. Chris currently serves as the manager for the Family, Community, and Adult Education domain with the East Lubbock Promise Neighborhood grant under Texas Tech University that serves over 17,000 residents. Chris is married to Melody Moore of twenty-three years and has four beautiful children and three grandchildren.
