Potter County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate a home burglary that left two family dogs dead.
On Wednesday, deputies were called out to the 100 block of Rustic Trail, Rolling Hills, Potter County.
Officials say hand tools and shop equipment were taken from the garage and the family’s 2 dogs were found deceased in home owner’s swimming pool. It is believed the animals were drowned by the suspect(s) while in the commission of the burglary.
Obviously, the homeowners are very distraught over the loss of their family pets and the violation of their home.
