In two weeks some of the best chefs will get to show off their skills and secret recipes. On August 26th, four pit masters will go head to head in a shrimp and steak cook-off. This all goes down at 5 p.m.. Then starting at 7 p.m. there will be a prime rib dinner and they will cap off the night with a concert by Texas Country band, Cody Canada and the Departed.
Saturday, the 27th starting at 8 a.m. will be the KCBS BBQ & Ribeye championship. This event is open to the public at Animal and Food Science Livestock Arena on Texas Tech’s Campus. For more information email Tate Corliss at tate.corliss@ttu.edu.
