The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Wolfforth Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a convenience store robbery. The Texas Rangers are assisting in the investigation.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on July 31, a robbery occurred at the Rip Griffin Travel Center Valero convenience store at 701 Dowden Ave. in Wolfforth. During the robbery, the suspect pulled out a black revolver handgun and demanded all the cash in the register. The suspect then fled east on a motorcycle toward Lubbock with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or white male with a dark complexion, medium build, with dark hair. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a phrase printed on the front, blue jeans, black sunglasses and white shoes. The motorcycle was black with Ape Hanger-style handlebars and a back rest.
