The Texas Department of Public Safety reports one person was killed and another was injured following a one vehicle rollover early Saturday morning in Dickens County.

The accident occurred on County Road 333, approximately one mile south of Spur, around 1:35 a.m.

Authorities said a Dodge Ram 3500 was traveling north on County Road 333 when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The driver overcorrected causing the truck to roll over.

One person in the vehicle was ejected and a second person was injured. 

The DPS said the preliminary investigation indicated the driver may be Mitchell Tate Hagar, 23, of Spur. This accident victim was transported to Crosbyton Clinic Hospital in Crosbyton where he later died.

The second accident victim was transported to Unviversity Medical Center in Lubbock with unjown injuries. The DPS identifed this accident victim as Vance Reed Parsons, 19, of Spur.

A spokesman for University Medical Center reported late Saturday afternoon that Parsons is in serious but stable condition.

The DPS said the crash remains under investigation.
