One person was injured following a small plane crash in Midland County early Saturday afternoon.
The crash occurred at 12:25 p.m. at the Midland International Air & Space Port.
According to the DPS, The airplane was traveling north and landed on runway 28 at the Midland International Airport, the airplane was lifted back up by high wind gust causing it to fly on its left side. The airplane crashed on its propeller and then rolled over east partially onto the runway. The airplane came to rest upright facing southwest.
The pilot suffered non-incapacitating injures and has been identified as Patricia Ann Reakes-Collins, 53, of Midland.
The aircraft was a Single engine Luscombe.
