One person was hospitalized following a car crash Wednesday night.
Lubbock Police, Lubbock Fire, and EMS responded to the intersection of MLK and Highway 84 around 11:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said a driver appeared to rear-end an 18-wheeler.
The driver was trapped underneath the semi-truck for approximately 90 minutes before crews were able to free that person.
Police said the person was alert, conscious, and talking before being taken to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck was uninjured.
Police at the scene did not indicate the cause of the crash, or whether alcohol was a factor in the accident.
