The Early Learning Centers of Lubbock, Inc. announces sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Each facility and the Early Learning Center’s Main Office has a copy of the policy, which anyone may review.
Families that enroll at the Early Learning Centers will fill out an application form to determine if they are eligible for free or reduced-price meals. No parents at the Early Learning Centers pay for children’s meals. The information from this form is used to determine how Early Learning Centers is reimbursed by the government for the food they serve.
Household must prove the following information on the applicant: all household members’ names, the social security number of the head of household (or other responsible adult), and all • household members’ income by source; OR the household’s EDG number, and the signature of an adult household member certifying that the information is correct.
Applications are accepted at enrollment and updated periodically throughout the year.
According to the free and reduced-price policy, Early Learning Centers will review applications and determine eligibility. Parents or guardians dissatisfied with the ruling of the official may discuss the decision with the Associate Director, Paula Perez. Households must report increases of over $50 per month or $600 per year in household income, and decreases in household size. If a household member becomes unemployed or if the household size increases, the household should contact the contractor. TANIF/SNAP households must report termination of benefits. None of this will affect the families service from Early Learning Centers.
