Early Voting Locations in Lubbock, November 2016 Election

Early voting started Monday and will continue through November 4 for the November 8, 2016 election.  

The following are locations and times for each day of early voting as provided by the Lubbock County Office of Elections via votelubbock.com.

Voters were reminded by local officials to bring one of seven (7) forms of photo I.D. to vote.  However, due to a court order, some people without the proper forms of identification can still cast a regular ballot.

The Office of Elections said, “If a voter has a reasonable impediment to obtaining one of the seven forms of approved photo ID, the voter may vote by (1) signing a declaration at the polls explaining why the voter is unable to obtain one of the seven forms of approved photo ID, and (2) providing one of various forms of supporting documentation.”

Supporting documentation can be an original certified birth certificate, or a voter registration certificate.  The documentation could also be a copy or original current utility bill, bank statement, government check, or paycheck.  It could also be a government document that shows the voter’s name and address — although government documents which include a photo must be original.
