Bring your dogs to an Easter egg hunt just for them! Maxey Community Centers is hosting their 2nd Annual Easter Egg Dog Bone Hunt for Pups on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum, 4111 University. This event is a perfect way to celebrate Easter with your furry friends! Participants will enjoy pictures with the Easter Bunny, pet vendors, an Easter parade, and an Easter egg dog bone hunt with their pets. Bring your pup dressed up in their Easter finery, and you could win a prize basket for the Best Dressed Dog.
Dogs must be up-to-date on their rabies vaccination and have with them a 2016 rabies tag or certificate from a veterinarian. Dogs must be on leash, and aggressive dogs or dogs in heat are not allowed.
City of Lubbock Animal Services will be hosting a booth at this event and will be providing microchips for dogs. Microchips are the best way to ensure that a lost pet is reunited with their owners. Cost is $10 per dog.
