More than 15,000 eggs will be hunted on Saturday, April 15, at Buffalo Springs Lake. The lake announced a series of events will run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with some events being free and others requiring an entry fee.
BSL released the following information:
Event: Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Date: April 15, 2017
Where: Buffalo Springs Lake – 9999 High Meadow Road Lubbock, Texas
Location at BSL: Meadow (Across from the Amphitheater)
Cost:
Ages 11 and under – Free Before 4:00 pm
Ages 12 – 64 – $10.00
Ages 65 and over – $5.00
Description: Craft vendors, Food Vendors, Egg Hunt for children 18 months – 11 years old (Over 15,000 eggs) The Easter Bunny, Petting Zoo, Bubble Ball, Face Painting, Horseback riding, etc.
Time of event: 11:00-4:00 pm
Time that Easter Bunny will be out: 1:30pm-3:30pm
Times for Egg Hunts:
Special Needs Children – (Adult help allowed) 1:00 pm
18 months – 2 years old (Adult help allowed) – 1:30 pm
2 – 3 years old (Adult help allowed) – 2:00 pm
4 – 5 years old (No adult help for ages 4 and up) – 2:30 pm
6-8 years old – 3:00 pm
9-11 years old – 3:30 pm
This will be a great family day of fun and excitement! It all begins at 11:00am and will last until 4:00pm. Shopping, Activities for children, and over 15,000 eggs given away during Easter Egg hunts that are divided into age groups between 18 months and 11 years old. Children 11 and under get in free until 4:00pm!!!! We will also be having our annual Spring Craft Show.
