The absolute best city for your skin is El Paso according to an article this week by WalletHub.com.
How’d Lubbock do? Um, Lubbock ranks 140th. That’s pretty good, right?
No. Not really. There were only 150 cities on the list.
Cities were ranked by skin cancer prevalence, pollution, smoking, climate and “skin health and care.”
Climate included things like ultraviolet index and humidity. Skin health and care included things like the number of dermatologists per 100,000 people.
Port St. Lucie, Florida ranked the absolute worst on the list at 150. Amarillo ranked 142 (bragging rights for Lubbock).
San Antonio ranked 2nd and Austin ranked 3rd. Yeah, fine. Austin’s beauty is only skin deep. There. We said it. Sorry, Austin. It looks like were a little thin-skinned after this new study.
