One person was injured after a crash in Central Lubbock Thursday evening.
Emergency crews responded just after 7:00 p.m. to South Loop 289 and Slide Road.
Scanner traffic indicated the Jaws of Life were required at the scene, but law enforcement did not say whether or not they were actually used to free the driver.
A witness said the Jaws of Life were not used, rather he broke the car window to help the driver crawl out of her car.
Lubbock Police said one person had minor injuries. That person was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
A silver car was left flipped over on Slide, near the access road.
Police said traffic had returned to normal after about an hour and a half.
Police did not indicate the cause of the crash. The crash remained under investigation Thursday evening.
