It’s the talk that just won’t die. Big 12 expansion.
As the Big 12 enters expansion talks once again, many of the programs that the conference has fumbled through are teams outside of a “Power 5” conference.
However, wouldn’t it make the most sense, and entertain the least amount of risk to pluck another “Power 5” school from another “Power 5” conference?
Earlier this week former UCLA head football coach Rick Neuheisel speculated that his alma mater, UCLA, and the likes of Arizona and Arizona State, could be interested in a move to the Big 12.
