A contractor for the Texas Department of Transportation will start work next week to rebuild the northbound lanes Slide Road at 103rd Street.
TxDOT said in a written statement, “103rd Street will remain open to both east- and westbound motorists, but the traffic lanes will be narrow.”
“Traffic is anticipated to remain in this configuration for at least five weeks,” TxDOT said.
The work at 103rd Street is part of an overall $14.1 million project is to rebuild Slide Road between 98th Street and FM 1585. When finished, Slide will be a seven-lane thoroughfare.
